The Lakehouse Rental Agreement

Hello and welcome to our home! We’re so happy you chose our property for your vacation. Before you settle in and get comfortable, we would like to make you aware of the House Rules in place at our vacation rental. Understanding and complying with our house rules will make for a comfortable and fun stay for everybody! Please fill out the TDN Rental Agreement form before your stay. These rules are included in the booking contract and and need to be acknowledged by the primary booking individual.

R1) Although we know they are important members of your family, we do not permit pets on the property or in the lakehouse.
R2) While there is plenty of room outside, there is no smoking, no cannabis, and no vaping permitted inside or on the decks of the lakehouse
R3) It’s our hope that you make wonderful memories at Tuscan Dream North. However, there can be no large gatherings or large parties with unregistered guests. If you plan to invite a few friends to visit you or sleep over, this is fine, but we require that you let us know in advance. Please note: we do not permit wedding or bridal showers, stag, stag & doe, bachelorette or bachelor parties
R4) Local COVID19 gathering restrictions apply.
R5) The primary booking individual must be one of the guests lodging at the premises.
R6) The primary booking individual must be 30 years of age or older. The primary booking individual accepts responsibility for all other guests and for any damages.
R7) We have great neighbours also enjoying their properties. We ask that every effort be made to avoid noisy activities outside after 11PM.
R8) Children are welcome; however, this is an open lakefront property and there are no gates on the first or second level decks.
R9) The premises are monitored by video cameras outside of the building (not the hot tub!). To ensure your safety, tampering of the monitoring system can result in the cancellation of the booking in accordance with cancellation policies.
R10) No access to the dock or stairs to the lake is permitted after November 1 until all ice and snow have melted from the stairs to the lake (or in any event of ice or snow before Nov 1).
R11) The garage on the other side of the access road is not included in the rental of this property and the driveway in front of the garage must remain free of vehicles. It’s possible you may see the owners in the garage during bookings. Feel free to wave!
R12) The access road through the property is a private road used by other cottagers and must remain free of vehicles and unobstructed at all times.
Note: Pets visits or smoking will result in an additional cleaning fee of $500.

***Renters also acknowledge that their rental of the lakehouse can be terminated early if they fail to keep the terms of the rental agreement.***
